Adaptation of the work “Self-Portrait of the Viewers” made for Art Centre Silkeborg Bad, Denmark.

The work directly includes the audience in the process of its creation. Members of the audience are invited to stretch out rubber bands, stick in pins, or scratch off squares - depending on whether they consider their compatriots to be racist or open toward those who are different, whether they endorse apology and compensation for colonial history, whether they can accept a person in a hijab living in their neighbourhood, or a homosexual teacher for their child. In this way, the visitors reflect on contemporary ethical questions and simultaneously build a visual portrait of their community.Production of the adopted version: Neo associazione culturale Udine
