This is the beta 1 version of TFOR, a freeware text-formatting tool.
It allows you to change the type of end-of-line marker, substitute tabs with spaces, break lines at a maximum length, and a few other operations that may be useful with text-only files. It is NOT a text editor, nor a text reader. 

TFOR runs only on an Intel-compatible PC under Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 or 2000.

Since this is a beta release, there are probably bugs. I shall appreciate comments in this group, but I cannot guarantee that I shall correct bugs or add features - most certainly, not within a short time.
