CV SASA PETEJAN March 2004

Born in 1972 in Koper (Slovenia).

As long as I can remember I believe in the power of words and journalism is my main occupation.

Everything begun during my studies at the Faculty of Social Science in Ljubljana (Slovenia), where I took a degree in journalism in 1999. I was working mainly for printed media and I have experience as a national level journalist. I spent four years as correspondent for Slovene Press Agency (STA). I am member of IFJ (International Federation of Journalists).

After few years of experience I started to explore a combination of well-crafted words, meaningful images and so-called good news in prevailing bad news environment. At the end of year 2000 I began to collaborate with photographer Bojan Brecelj.

In last three years several features and interviews (complete research included) were published in Slovene magazines (Mladina, Glamur/Gloss, Nedelo, Adria Airways, Grif, Sobotna priloga ...) and abroad.
