Esma's visit at Demir Kapija, an Institute for persons with special needs.
Esma is visiting the institute since 1976 when she first gave a humanitarian concert. Since than every year she is making humanitarian donations to the institute working in very bad conditions, with the minimum of employees and with scarce basic materials to fulfill the needs of 370 wards of all ages.
The institute, founded in 1958, was the largest institute for persons with special needs in former Yugoslavia. It is going trough hard times during since the period of Balkan and it is the only institute of that kind in Macedonia. Without Esma's donations and efforts to bring more donators for the Institute it's existence was in question. In September she will give a humanitarian concert there again.
