"We have an average of 20 wagons coming through each day. All vehicles going onto and leaving farm properties have to pass by to be disinfected. That means a delivery wagon, for example, instead of doing four deliveries a day might do only two, because they have to come here between each farm visit to be disinfected. They might drop half the consignment at one farm, come here for disinfecting, then take the rest of the consignment to another farm. So it does mean a lot of extra mileage for the haulage companies. This includes wagons carrying feed stuff, animals, fuel, and so on".
