   bb-gbr-145.jpg The Great Siege Tunnels exposition: In the period of the Great Siege the first tunnel system was constructed to reach and control over the north-east side of Gibraltar. From there many holes, specially constructed cannons which were able to shoot in the position of 70 degrees and were designed by Lieutenant Koehler during the Great Siege especially to allow the bombardment of the Spanish positions on the isthmus from the Upper Rock. |
