Nebojsa Seric - Soba - respected Bosnian artist from Sarajevo , was during war as a bosnian soldier on the front line of Sarajevo laying mines As line moved for some meters up and down , he moved mines ."If yuo staied in Sarajevo it was inposible to let things go , I had to act.... Most of the time mines had to be moved by night since the anamies were only a house or two avay He even steped on one but luckely nothing happend. Actully when he had a chance to get back to town he was playing in a band " 100 DM for electricity and 150 DM for a botle of rakija...music was surviwal ...it was newer before or after that so many good musicians and bands active as during war time"
This was firs visit after war that Soba had a courage to get back to the place where he actually was . After he did a a gallery project where his photo from war - him in (jarku) and photo after war - him in Nice were exposed. |
