This year I devoted most of my cave photography actions to making of Caving club Železničar calendar. As early as last year at the club,we discussed the idea about a calendar, with club members sparsely dressed. In spite of incipient scepticism, we made the first shot at the begining of April at Ice cave at Stojna and later followed many more interesting caves. The calendar is embelished by 6 female cavers and 6 male cavers, photographies were made in different Slovenian caves.

At the begining of October the interview about my photographic work was published at Turkish photographers's web page Fotoritim. I was asked questins by Levent Yildiz and it resulted in quite extensive interview with numerous photographies. Although the prevailing language of this page is Turkish, the interview is published also in English.

At the end of September, there was jubilee XXX. cave photography competition of Grupo Espeleologico Ribereńo caving club. I got third prize for a photograph from Mitja's cave (Cave in Jezerina).

At the end of August came out German calendar Unterwelten 2008, published by German association Arbeitsgemeinschaft Höhle & Karst Grabenstetten. Front page is adorned by one of my olders photos from Logarček cave, when I joined cavers from Borovnica and rakek in discovering of jet undiscovered parts. Tine and Tone Palčič helped me at photographing. You can see enlarged front page on the publications page.

In the middle of August came out famous cave photography calendar of Speleoprojects publishing house. My photo from Predjama is published on a front page of this year's calendar. On the photo you can see well known stalagmite called »snail«, located near the begining of East pit. At taking shot, I was assisted by Miha Staut as caver in the background and Luka Kronegger.You can buy the calendar at the earlier mentioned publishing house on their web page, enlarged front page can be seen on publications page.

In the second half of august in Mladina weekly came out article about my work. It's in a column called Striptease, photos are provided by Borut Peterlin, who writes about his photographic (and other ) adventures in his blog. Column represents personal view of a portraitee on his work. In the second half of October came out article about this column in the Italian magazine D la Repubblica delle donne, number 570/page 72-80, at the same time Borut exhibited photos at the Host gallery in London.

Since 29. of May until the end of June at the Janez Trdina cultural center in Novo Mesto, you could see another exhibition of my cave photoghraphies. I displayed 70 x 100 cm size prints, and besides already seen prints, there were also four new prints.

At the end of November,I got the second prize award at the XVII. festival of cave and canyonning photography, for the shot of a caver in a meander. You can find more about it at their Web page: http://www.espeleogrup.santfeliu.net/concurs.html.

At the end of August 2005 I started to confer with Frenchman Luc Henri - Fage about publishing photos in the coming book of acknowledged author Georges Marbach, but serious arrangement to use one whole page photography, took place as late as middle of year 2006. Book came out in October 2006 at French publishing house Glenat. It describes subterranean world in a a popular and illustrative manner.Photos in a book were contributed by best cave photographers.

I wrote article with cave topics again,after a long time . I am especially proud about this one, because I put every effort in it. It was published in a Slovene edition of well known magazine Geo, on ten pages plus two whole page photographies. The article was very well accepted, which shows, that readers are interested in articles with this kind of topics. You can see some pages at publication selections.

XXIX. .Competition for the best cave photography of a caving club Grupo Espeleologico Ribereńo was concluded at the begining of October. I got second prize award for the photo of Golokratna cave.

The opening of the exhibition took place at the chemical institut in ljubljana on a 21. of June I displayed about 25 prints , 70 x 100 cm format, which were exhibited  until the end of  September.

After long years I began to renovate my internet pages (time permitting), I'll try to upgrade the contents, write some new interesting articles and of course, publish cave photography. Unfortunately, the articles are available only in Slovene for now, but I plan to translate them very soon.
