Act Women have been involved in theatre for the sixth year now. Coming together from three different cities they direct their multiculturality and dissimilarity towards a global women's active art. Through stage manifestations they expose the taboos of contemporary society while constantly provoking the public. They have performed at many international and local events, festivals etc. All of their activities are tied to the freedom of thinking with the aim of de-intimizing the feminist's, lesbian's and woman's life. The ideas for their performances stem from their work with different marginal groups (the Roma people, women - victims of violence, abandoned children, the lesbian and gay population,…). They also organize festivals, theatre camps, street events, and promote women's art activities.
