PETER TSCHERKASSKY
Rojen 1958 na Dunaju; 1985/86 doštudiral filozofijo v Berlinu; pouèuje filmsko prakso na Kunsthochschule v Linzu; organiziral in vodil mednarodne filmske festivale avantgardnega filma na Dunaju in mednarodne filmske turneje; predavatelj in publicist na temo zgodovine in teorije avantgardnega filma; od 1993 direktor avstrijskega festivala nacionalnega filma “Diagonale”.
Born in 1958 in Vienna; 1985/86 graduated in Philosophy in Berlin; teaches film practice at the Kunsthochschule, Linz; has organized and directed several international avant-garde film festivals in Vienna and some international film tours; numerous publications and lectures on the history and theory of avant-garde cinema; since 1993 artistic director of the Austrian national film festival “Diagonale”.
