Ljudmila and Strip Core are inviting you!The entertainment industry and it's rites have introduced consumerism in the usage of computer technology, and with the recent development of internet with it's www, this trend became more obvious. The scene of a couch potato surfing the web is becoming a normal thing even in European third world countries, as we call ex Eastern Europe, and this motivated the making of "Velodrome Online". Lack of physical responsibility while using the computer is addressed directly with our installation, and it is no wonder that the prototype was baptised "Torture Cybercafe". We invite you to witness and experience web pedalling, and lose the far too Californian "surf" metaphor.

Ljudmila in Strip Core vabita!Zabavna industrija in njeni obredi so vpeljali potrošništvo v uporabo računalniške tehnologije, z nedavnim razvojem world wide weba pa ta trend postaja še bolj očiten. Foteljski svaljki, ki surfajo po webu, postajajo vsakdanjost celo v državah evropskega tretjega sveta, kot pravimo bivši vzhodni Evropi - in to je motivacija za nastanek "Velodroma Online". Naša instalacija neposredno naslavlja odsotnost fizične odgovornosti pri uporabi računalnika, tako da ni čudno, da je bil prototip krščen za "cybercafe mučilnico". Vabimo vas, da se udeležite web kolesarjenja in se znebite daleč preveč kalifornijske metafore surfanja.
