1. Screenwriting workshop July,21 - 30 2000

Ten participants in the group will work on their film stories, developing them to the step-outline treatment.

Conditions:
- written application
- two film stories (not longer than half of page)
- eventually, a single, well elaborated scene, not longer than five pages, selected from one of the stories
- C.V.

2.Production workshop August,7 -18 2000.

Participants should previously arrange to be in a team: producer/screenwriter and/or director. They will work on producing packages.

Conditions:
- written application
- screenwriting for a feature-length or TV film
- short explanation of the project
- CV of each member of the team

3. Documentary workshop July,30 - August,18 2000.

Participants will work in four teams: director/producer, cameraman and sound person/assistant. Two projects will be shot on 16 mm film (up to 20 min) and two on DVCam (25-45 min) Themes should be: region of Istria, its beauties, inhabitants, problem areas, history, etc. Postproduction of films will be done in Zagreb where the participants have to ensure their accomodation. In the case that postproduction is done in the home country of the participants, he/she has to ensure its financing.

Posts are open for four directors and two cinematographers.

Workshops will be held by leading pedagogues from UCLA, (Los Angeles, USA), NYU (New York, USA) OU-Athens, (Ohio, USA) ADU-Zagreb, (Croatia), ASU (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and AGRFT (Ljubljana, Slovenia) etc

GENERAL CONDITIONS - workshops are assigned to students of Film schools and to professionals, to the for screenwriting workshop can apply others, up to 35. years of age, from Central Europe

- the official language of the Imaginary Film Academy is English and everything mentioned above under "conditions", should be written in English

- an International Jury will select applicants and for all those selected, costs of accommodation and meals will be covered by the organiser

- all participants have to pay a registration fee of 500 DM .For Documentary workshop participants have to pay 700 DM
