Calle Claus has been
drawing
comics ever since he could hold a pencil. As a kid, his first
favourites
were the stories of Carl Barks (without knowing his name, of course, he
thought
it was Walt Disney who drew all his beloved Donald Duck stories). Later
he
studied illustration at art school. Now he works as a magazine
illustrator,
joke-writer and drawing teacher in Hamburg, Germany. He has published
several
comic books in Germany, such as "Elbsirene" (Jochen Enterprises),
"Portrait
of a young lady" (Edition 52) and "Spring" (Reprodukt).
