Carol Swain has
been
originally trained as a painter. She began creating comics with her
self-published
Way Out Strips in 1988. Her first graphic novel, Invasion of the Mind
Sappers,
appeared in 1996, and the second, Foodboy, is due out this autumn (both
from
Fantagraphics Books). She lives in London with her writer boyfriend and
a
whole posse of cats.
