Petra Kolmančič

Petra Kolmančič was born 1974 at Ptuj. She attended elementary school at Ormož and grammar school at Ljutomer. She graduated in sociology of culture and philosophy at Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana . Since 2002 a programme co-ordinator of Slovene Days of Book, which takes place annually in Maribor. Since 2004 a co-ordinator of the MKC Črka (Letter) section at MKC Maribor. Since 1998 editor of Frontier book collection at Subkulturni azil Maribor. Since 1997 she has edited a collection of literary and visual subcultural creativity Sirota Jerica (6 issues). Petra Kolmančič is a head of cultural association KUD Zid na Meji. She has been employed as a professional collaborator at MKC Maribor (municipal Youth Cultural Centre - http://chp.uni-mb.si/mkc)
