MIŠA
GAMS
Balerina
("The Ballet Dancer")
(60 pages, in Slovene language, illustrated, published in 1997)
The second book of poetry by a representative of younger
generation presents 40 poems, among them some longer ballads. Jurij Hudolin
observes that Miša Gams' poetry "...talks about suffocating, emotionless
world, which is replete with pain, defeat, and anarchic human relations
where
love seems to be a distant enigma, and eroticism is more or less perverted,
permeated with "strange slime" and dead new-borns."
