The first Slovene scientific work on the theme of farce. It deals with special features of the farce as a literary and theatre genre. In its pure form the farce does not often appear in contemporary main-stream theatre, it seems to be quite a curiosity, still their elements are present everywhere around us - we talk about the farsical rather than a farce.
