Enya Belak: THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON (Work in progress)

Addiction. The truth. Intoxication. Hallucination. Ecstasy. Feelings. Dreams. Misconception. The story follows associative logics and metaphors. The play of light. DRAGON. A little girl plays with a dragon, has him slide over the sky in a free, playful and happy spirit. In a timeless spirit. I am looking for a reason to move away from this world/a reason to escape into dreams/a reason to die. The perspective of the spectator. Collage. Withdrawal into dreams/withdrawal from this world. Misery/decay/pain/mirror of contemporary society. Delusion. Society. Not ignorant, but accepting in a passive and cold manner. One cannot run forever. It ends at one point. The consolation we look for by strengthening the fragility of our BEING is only temporary. Just as temporary as we are. The perspective of a sensitive man. MOVEMENT. Emanates from internal emotions. It’s not beautiful. It’s not ugly. Every person is responsible for himself/others. Memory and tears. A smile. And I AM FLYING.

Jerca Rožnik Novak: STOP!

Stop! I need to go. This station is called “Lift your skirt up and be a real women”… Really, I can not hold it any longer. What? Well… I do not know if I am sorry, I just have to go! Like a boss, I tell you this.
Well you know, actually I am not sorry at all. This is obviously the one and only TRUTH about ME… well, yes I know I can hold it; and train my survival instincts, improve my sexual live, protect the health of the old woman I will become and bullshit and all this bla bla bla.
You know, I do not really care. I just need to go.

Maša Hawlina: SEE TO SEE

Complexity of a body, beauty and self-image – all of the three subjected to an incessant dictation of the advertising industry, fashion and the media – raises multiple questions: how should a woman dress up and do make-up, how should she walk and talk, how much should she weigh, how many hours should she spend in gyms and in changing rooms at clothes’ stores, and most importantly, how can she become sexually attractive and desired? This, they tell us, is supposed to be the very centre of feminine identity and the latter should presumably be constructed with care, control and discipline.

Performance, choreography: Maša Hawlina / Video: Enya Belak / Music: Radio (Lana Del Ray)

Eva Posedel: THANK YOU FOR ATTENTION!

How about if a person doesn’t think of himself as sufficient company until someone tells him so? He needs a look, a word, a smile, an embrace, a feeling, a compliment. He needs attention, he’s addicted to it, at first to he longs for casual smiles on the street and then, in the end, latent anxiety and unbearable loneliness come over him.
