| BUsingye

is an old story told in a novel manner. The performance communicates
the story through drumming, gibberish as well as dancing - and the project
is just about to develop into a whole new stage (event). Two tribes meet
somewhere in space-time and fall victims to the games of destiny. Surely
they can tell a friend from foe, love from hate and peace from war. But
can they see the power pulling the strings behind? If not, a macabre fate
is right ahead. Shakespeare in the midst of Africa, if you dare...
The word "busingye" means "peace" in the languages
Rukiiga, Runyoro, Ruooro and Runyankole, mostly spoken in Uganda.

        performance.
