It is so with the news: people prefer the good ones. But - news that are for some people good, can be bad for other. The fact that there most probably will be no autumn picnic this year cannot be presented as good news. Maybe the fact that the saved time will be spent for rehearsals, and the collected money for travelling may bring joy to our listeners and to someone who will not have to deal with a hangover-ing the morning after the boozing night. I my-self can only hope not to bring such news ever again.
Our departure is approaching. The last day of October is the day of opening a new page chronicle and adding to all events our singing in a most distant location up-to now.
If all is OK, we are after flying over the Atlantic, to land in Toronto. We will spend the first weekend with the Slovenians living in Toronto. Tuesday eve, after about ten-hour of travelling, we should be in Washington, which we will leave the day after Thursday's concert. A short more to New York will follow. There we will hold a concert in the Slovenian parish church. We will have plenty of time for sightseeing to the middle of the next week when we will head for Cleveland. The journey will be then coming to its end. After Chicago we will fly back home - to Slovenia. In order not to be alone on our jour-ney we will see that our endeavours will be available on these pages. Take a calendar and mark in it when to look into the pages to follow our American adventures.
