	MALE FANTASIES Political correctness as the extreme form of represive tolerance the plot of the performance Male Fantasies, directed by Emil Hrvatin, is concerned with a "small scale" war criminal, a man who committed criminal acts during a war, yet was not one of the major actors in the event. After the war two posssibilities emerge: he can either be sentenced for life for his atrocities on children, or can agree to participate in a research for new mathods for curing pedophiles in a clinic in the rich West. He chooses the second option. A psychiatrist, who is an expert in the research and treatment of sexual perversions, is working on a new method which cures pedophilia. By way of this method he is trying to penetrate into his patient’s body memory, but his scientific enthusiasm drives him beyond all ethics. He is given a war criminal, a pedophile who is immune to any method of treatment. thus, this patient runs away. Much later they meet in circumstances controlled by the psychiatrist’s former patient. Tthe patient imposes on tthe psychiatrist tthe same task as tthe psychiatrist iposed on himself in his hospital. Tthe only differenca is that this time his technique has to yield results. Success brimgs no reward - but merely life.

Four years later, the West’s pupils of the eye were still as thin as a surgical laser during an eye operation. the battlefield had thousands of excited actors and millions of voyeurs whose precise optical instruments absolved them from any action, with the exception of their "deeply concerned attitude". Partaking in the ethical absolution included also the soldiers. Why wouldn’t it Male Fantasies broke into one of their secret theatres where theatregoers are superflous if they don’t act. their artistic guidance is provided by torture which is unable to satisfy its own sadism with the help of masochists, nor with a classical torture repertoire developed over millenia of human civilization. Enthusiasm over spiritual perfidity, its rack is a sinfully expensive show which only a starving team of actors is allowed to see. their artistic mission has not changed in the last few years: to overplay fear, to conceal bruises in the head, to swallow a burgeois drama props secretly and perhaps to survive until morning.
