The basic concept is to use very efficient ways of irrigation, unlike in the delta area where the system hasnt changed since the pharaoh times. The main system is to bring water from the Nile through canals and water plants with dripping system.. - it seems much easier to start new ways of farming in a desert then changing systems in the Nile valley and in the delta. -agriculture is one of the defensive strategies for the country which can afford high expenses. |
