Namche Bazar is the most important town in Solu Khumbu, the land of
Sherpa people, Nepal. The town is located in the lower part of Solu
Khumbu, at 3500 metres above sea level, on the cross of traditional
trade routes in this part of Himalaya. The bazar (market) takes place
every week in the town in high season (spring and autumn). There are
many traders from lower part of Himalaya foothils and also many Tibetan
Traders who come over Nangpa La passage, where Sherpa people came some
centuaries ago from Tibet to south side of Himalayas. The article is
