MARKET IN NAMCHE BAZAR

Namche Bazar is the most important town in Solu Khumbu, the land of Sherpa
people, Nepal.
The town is located in the lower part of Solu Khumbu, at 3500 metres above
sea level,
on the cross of traditional trade routes in this part of Himalaya. The bazar
(market) takes place every week
in the town in high season (spring and autumn). |
