Once children recognize that they can hear their self-confidence grows. This boy suddenly picks up the phone and starts an imaginary conversation during the children’s game. Although his words are badly pronounced, he is very happy.
SUVAG is a rehabilitation centre for deaf childeren. Childeren who were born deaf, had an operation and an implant was build in their scull and inner ear. With a rehabilitation they learn how to hear and speak. Rehabilitation last between two and four years. Childeren are enrolled in normal school or kindergarten. |
