COOKING WORKSHOP

The excellent young chef Iztok Krajnc is in charge of the cooking workshop, at which the evening feast for all neighbours and festival guests will be prepared.

The senior citizens from the Activity Day Centre for the Elderly will also be stirring up their magic in the pots and pans. Starting in the early afternoon, they will be having a good time on the Platform by the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, preparing marinated spring vegetables, salty herb spreads, a cornmeal mush with chicory, and delicious herbal pancakes.

The aim of the workshop is to realise an intergenerational exchange of cooking skills, following which the food prepared will be served at the opening party of The Mladi levi Festival.
