The interactive project Women.index by Andreja Kuluncic started at January 16th, with placating of posters in the urban space of Split.The installation was a part of the international program entitled Women in Crossroads of Ideologies.

Women.index is a collaborative project that registered the manner in which the position of women was felt by the women of Split-Dalmatian County, answering a poll titled "How do I feel?" according to the criteria of the questionnaire on the street, as well in anonymous phone pool.

The poll was prepared by consulting a number of experts regarding the formulation of sociological poll. The experts' group included Rebeka Anic, Jadranka Polovic, Suncica Gluncic, as well as associations Domina (working on promotion of women rights) and Mirta (assistance to victims of domestic violence).The project assisted the analysis of women's place in a county in which the rights of women are under severe attack.

The second segment of the project, providing live updates of statistics during 2 weeks, was exhibited daily on the display located in the window-shop of "Galic" Salon in Marmontova Str. until January 30th. The women were able to dial the toll-free number 0800 7879 and participate in the poll. The recording machine registered their definitions of their respective positions, choosing between: satisfied, discriminated or abused.

The whole manifestation Woman at the crossroad of ideologies was opened with alarming statistic data gained till that moment. Andreja Kulunčić was invited to participate in the project because of her exact and scientific approach to art, and the ability to shape this important social project on several levels.

Special problem visible in non - matching among street and phone gained statistics opened place for analysis of the problem of the still present shame of woman in speaking publicly.
