Introductory College and Advanced Placement Level Physics

Return to the Fizzics Fizzle Main Page.

General high school physics classes usually give you the means for solving things such as where a ball will land or how much voltage is across a certain resistor. However, some of the equations are given without a reason for why they work. This advanced level tutorial will provide you answers as to how and why those equations work. In addition, several new concepts will be introduced in both mechanics and electricity and magnetism.

Almost all of the derivations needed will require the use of basic calculus. We have provided a brief calculus overview in the beginning to help you get started. The topics introduced in this section will complement the topics taught in many introductory college and Advanced Placement Physics C courses. We kindly invite you to join is in exploring the complexity of our world and of nature around us.
