If you are look at this page now, you are probably a high school student looking for help in physics.
You probably studied other sciences before physics such as biology and chemistry but have never encountered any other science subject that was this math intensive. Well have no fear! This Fizzics Fizzle intermediate level physics guide will help you along with some of those difficult problems. This section assumes that you have a basic background with algebra and trigonometry and that you have the basic knowledge covered in our beginner's guide. So why is physics so math intensive anyway? Biology describes life functions; chemistry describes the interaction of matter; but physics describes the fundamental mechanisms of the universe. These mechanisms, such as why objects fall and why we have electricity, are based on mathematics. In addition, these mechanisms are the same no matter where you are, whether on earth or on some distant planet across the universe. Physics tries to descibe all interactions using pure mathematics.
